Awesome

My first time in Japan. I like that it was walking distance to just about everything. I have stayed at bigger hotels and they don’t offer the amenities such as toothbrush, bath salt etc so that was a plus. Love the bathroom and the big tub. The staff was very friendly and although English is not their first language they made every attempt to understand my needs since my knowledge of the language is limited. I would definitely stay there again.

The room were a little small and my window was facing a building under construction but it overall still enjoyed my stay.

Ideal for exploring Tokyo

The hotel staff were really welcoming and friendly. The hotel was exceptionally clean and ideally located to explore Tokyo (Ueno station is just opposite!) The reception area smelled amazing.

Lovely respite at the end of a day in the busyness of Tokyo!

Location is really convenient to transportation - next door to UENO station. Helpful if you have lots of luggage. Very near wide selection of food places too.

The rooms are pretty tight but we managed! Breakfast was simple but delicious and substantial enough - just right to start the day.

A great location to explore tokyo if you dont want to be in the busy centre

Honestly best location we could have asked for in comparison to staying somewhere busier like shinjuku. This was a little hub near Ueno Station (easy access from airport and easy to shoot off everywhere). The location was still a very short walk to the Ameyoko shopping street and surrounds where there are too many food options and fun shops to explore into the night. The daily bottle of water and towel replacement was great as well as the complimentary options in the lobby (tea, soap etc).

Although expected in Tokyo, the room size. Had to be very tactical with bag placement with just 2 bags. Also, we had a night where the bathrooms pipes were very smelly. I think it was a sewerage thing as you can regularly smell it around tokyo near vents/drains etc. I opened window and put a towell over one and this seemed to reduce/fix it.

Wonderful

Location closed to JR Ueno in a walking distance and nice staff.

Here double room and single room are the same. When I tried to book 5 double rooms, Booking.com system showed that there were only 4 rooms available, so I booked 4 plus 2 single rooms and when I checked-in at the hotel I just found out that double room and single room are the same nothing different, but I have to pay more unnecessarily.

Comfortable and convenient for an overnighter

We had an overnight layover in Tokyo and this hotel provided the perfect stay for us. We were able to take the skyliner direct to Ueno station and walked about 5-10 mins to this nice hotel. Room was small (to be expected) but clean and comfortable. Also very close to lots of great places to grab a bite.

Convenient location just abt 5 mins walk from subway. Clean hotel and spacious, they provide various types of tea bags and coffee bags. Hotel looks new and chic!

The location is ideal if you come in using the skyliner and close to a great selection of restaurants and bars The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms while very small are well equipped and comfortable

The slight negative is the size of the room.

Excellent location. The famous shopping street ameyakucho is only 5 minutes walk away

As with all hotels, there would be no cleaning up every day of the room. They just hang your new towel by the door knob. But everything is there at the lobby counter should you want anything extra. As we are sight seeing, we are seldom in the room and the room is only a place for sleeping over.

NA. Everything is ok. They even provide a free umbrella when it is raining on the day we are going out. So sweet, the staff at the check in counter.

It was a relaxed and comfortable stay.

Location was great and walking distance from several family mart and breakfast spot.

The hotel only has 2 washing machine, so do not expect that it will always be available for washing.

+ clean + modern + great location 3' from ueno station, family mart and nice restaurants + staff was really friendly + lugguage delivery + daily hygiene utensils

Very close to Ueno JR station, with lots of food and options around. Breakfast set is decent and well balanced. Also like the fact that there's no daily cleaning for guests staying consecutive nights but enough towels are provided. Daily supply of two bottles of water well appreciated too.

Room a bit small but it's standard in Japan. Bathroom is spacious though.

Kudos to Kobayashi who went out of her way to give us hot milk which usually wasn't available.

Breakfast healthy, small quantity but of high quality. Room not quiet at no fault of hotel, since its location is near train station. Kobayashi helpful and pleasant. Anh very pleasant too.

Lobby a bit cramped, room small but bathroom spacious.
